A charming mid-Victorian oak writing desk with a tooled maroon leather inset above a single frieze drawer with glass handles and key

There are some light scuffs to the tooled leather and handles and there is evidence of a small historic repair to the top (please see photographs) but overall the desk remains in a very good condition and is extremely attractive

which has a similar effect to the painting throughout

the volume has marbled endpapers with a prize plate to the front endpaper dated 1902

All pieces are in a very good condition with original blue glass liners. A truly lovely cruet set from the Art Deco period from a rare and sought after silversmith. Total silver weight: 192
