Probably one of my favorite check systems ever. As with several other Regals I've handled, the check spring on this one is not the tightest I've seen, but it is a palmable spool. No wobble or other issues. No line grooves which is very rare in itself. Correct smooth brass foot attached with two screws has been neatly filed on one
