This one is a world map based on Gall's stereographic projection (invented 1855) and I must say not an easy one to put together

Quite an interesting piece of history I think

this one came first and the other later as the maker refined their carving skills

With clear age, I think antique, and I believe the fine gauge wool yarn with which the skin was knit was hand dyed.
