The front latch still closes tightly

I couldn't snatch them up fast enough--pure joy

I've come across a few of these little barrel-shaped boxes and snatch them up whenever I can

though it reminds me so much of the work of Clarice Cliff (British)

and while this one is not antique or super complicated

(I've used a blank piece of paper just as example.) Marvelously graphic, wonderful folk color, hearts everywhere, a terrific example. Signed John H.
