Lovely 19th Century Hand-painted French Faience Blotter in Blue and Yellow library cards which extend out 5/8" and

which extend out 5/8" and are sturdily screwed in

with edges and old scratches softened and smoothed from wear

I had her resting on a shelf near my workspace for a bit and she felt like a serene and soulful muse

my inclination of course would be to immediately hang it on the wall as a perfect and unusual addition to a beautiful brush collection

Certainly useful for the painter's among us

Lovely 19th Century Hand-painted French Faience Blotter in Blue and Yellow library cards which extend out 5/8" andI found this ink blotter in PA but I believe it is 19th century, hand painted French faience. None too often that most of us use an ink blotter these days, but I thought the decoration on it so pretty I couldn't resist, and it would certainly make a good paper weight, with the benefit of a nice handle for moving it around and setting it down. Plus rocking it back and forth might calm ones nerves! And, really, why not pick up and ink pen and use it!??
