The Swarmlord is a six mana 5/5 that comes into play with two +1/+1 counters for each time youve cast your commander from the zone, and also draws cards whenever a creature you control with a counter dies

This means that you can phase out two creatures for just 1 mana and a card

However, this lore boost is mainly relevant when a game is at parity - it doesnt immediately help when youre behind (and need board presence more than lore) or ahead (and want to quest with your characters)
