If a creature affected by Grisly Anglerfishs effect hasnt been under its controllers control since the turn began, is tapped, or is affected by a spell or ability that says it cant attack, then it doesnt attack
There may be more ink on the back imprint, and therefore less ink on the actual stamp, but we forget that the ink is slightly bulging (compare it to a little bit of paint, or a lot of paint - the second means the overall result is thicker (actual thicker, not wider like with Thick/Thin 1st edition stamps ))
For instance, if I have a 3/3 creature, I can put as many +1/+1 counters on it as I want (although once its power is equal to the opponent's life total, the value gained drops off quickly)
