Clinically, TIND can manifest with prominent lower extremity weakness while characteristically preserving ankle reflexes, and it has also been reported to produce diabetic lumbosacral radiculoplexus neuropathy characterized by painful asymmetric weakness, findings that parallel the presentation observed in this patient [7,8,9]
