There are no 10 minute epics, the instrumentation is more varied (some songs feature bazouki, bagpipes, organs etc.) and the sound is a lot clearer than other albums. It is still distinctively the Dirty Three though. Most of the 19 songs on the album are reflective, melancholic pieces.
